Empowering a Tobacco-Free Future

Health Systems for a Tobacco-Free New York (HSTFNY) is a newly launched initiative aimed at helping healthcare systems reduce tobacco use and dependence across the state. As a new program, they needed a strong, cohesive brand identity to establish credibility and appeal to key decision-makers, including hospital administrators and policymakers. We were tasked with creating a complete brand package, including a logo, visual identity, website, and marketing materials that would help HSTFNY make an immediate impact in the healthcare sector.

We began by designing a logo that captured the essence of HSTFNY’s mission—promoting health and action. The clean, modern icon symbolizes having conversations about tobacco cessation, while the bright color palette reinforced the the need to take action. This visual identity was crafted to resonate with hospital leaders and policymakers, reflecting both professionalism and trust.

The website design was central to this initiative’s success. We built an intuitive, platform optimized for both desktop and mobile, to connect users with a tobacco cessation advocate in their area who provides free resources to support their tobacco cessation efforts. The site’s structure was organized to help visitors quickly find relevant information, empowering healthcare professionals to take immediate steps toward improving patient outcomes.

The brand and marketing strategy helped HSTFNY establish itself as a trusted, authoritative voice in New York’s healthcare landscape. With a unified brand identity, accessible resources, and targeted outreach, HSTFNY is now positioned to lead the charge in reducing tobacco use across the state.
